I had tried uninstalling BioExcess by Egistec which is Lenovo fingerprint reader/driver and I noticed today that since I uninstalled it (few days ago) an exclamation point appeared in device manager. There are a number of them available but they do not all work entirely the same way. Have it a few days and now after every hibernation/sleep, I get blue screen errors. I'm new into this issue. System Error: The system cannot find the file specified. This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. It's so frustrating when you know it's just ONE SIMPLE THING, and nobody knows, and everybody says for certain it's this or that, and it's not.
I ran bluescreenview and it says the bsod is caused by ntoskrnl.exe for all the times the bsod has occurred. Now when I start the system I have to disable/enable the LAN port before being able to access the network.
