You can re-activate Windows online or by phone. Once the computer restarted, it did not have any further issues. Check Windows event logs and the text on the BSOD for more clues. DirectX comes installed with Windows, so this may indicate Windows corruption. We're not affiliated or endorsed by the Mozilla Corporation but we love them just the same. Good luck!

If you have devices you bought yourself, the drivers for those devices need to be downloaded from the manufacturer support site for those devices. However, memory is possible as well. Ran memtest several times from a bootable CD, saw no errors with my ram. First see if folding causes a crash and then try browsing the internet with a load on the CPU and GPU to see if it makes any difference.
