Apologies for ages of delay.......did you resolve this? Two of the four USB ports reinstalled on Restart and the other two (2.0 and eSATA/USB Combo) did not reinstall and now they do not work at all. Any help? I believe the the drive is already erased, does Delete Volume erase the information so I can format it or does it delete the existing partition? i have tried changing the drive letters and that doesnt seem to help. I did check backwards compatibility of the fix.

it is detuctiing in the other computers... I finally solved it, it was some 'Virtual Drives' installed via CloneDVD that created that issue, hope it helps!
