I checked on Windows 7 and there i can see the real Temp Size. Once I did this, it found a 330GB transaction log from from my Sql Server database that had grown way too large. Therefore I could not write a single bit on the disk. When the numbers do not match, I start going through the sub-folders until I find which one(s) have the missing files (via software first, and then manually if needed).
