AWESOME - Option 1 worked for me, now I have stooped using explorer and started using google chrome.Thanks heaps... At this point, close all browser windows and rename the HOSTS.txt file back to HOSTS (without any file extension). Once I did that and tried to reset the Internet Explorer link I got the same message of windows installer not installed correctly. I am on my brothers computer and none of the options worked, and a i couldnt try out option 3 because i cant get to the internet to download it on

I ask because I've noticed a similar problem periodically at work, but never at home. None of these 3 options worked. I had a similar problem with my computer. Hope you can figure it out.
