I think because my OS is so new its different so I can't find the other exclusions like the one ending 'rules.ref' in 'ProgramData'? This screen tells you that Microsoft Security Essentials has been successfully installed. (I've never seen it come up with a failure message.) There's a checkbox on this screen to "Scan my Vote! There's already a scheduled scan setup by default, but it's set to run on Sunday's at 2:00 am.
