Some other thread suggests that speaker fill may have actually been replaced with "DTS Connect" which seemingly does the same thing. I have sound but only the right and subwoofer are workibng. Good luck. The thing is that now that I upgraded to W10 I only get the option of side speakers in 5.1. The only passable option I have been able to use is rolling back the Realtek driver to the Microsoft ‘High Definition Audio' driver', it crackles less but is not a perfect Surround Sound Center Speaker Not Working Odd.This is a pretty well known issue with Windows 10 that has been around since the TP and affects Realtek sound devices and some other hardware.

I think what the problem is is that windows recognizes my 5.1 speaker system as stereo, yet it works in surround, because I heard the rear, front and bass speaker. If you have problem with downloading drivers manually, you can consider using Driver Easy to help you. I have updated my sound card with latest drivers and still doesnt work..if you have any suggestion..they are most welcome. You can find this if you right click your sound device in the "Sound" part of the Control Panel and hit properties in the drop down.
