i wanted to run all tests, whole memory range, and the 3. so i fear the heat might have caused damage (mostly around 80-99°C, sometimes when stressed very much like during gaming, the CPU throttles when reaching 100°C and the GPU when reaching also in the night while id been running all these tests, when i was in windows, everything was perfect - not a single BSOD or freeze. news replaced it with the 2gb module which came with the notebook and hasn't been used for 3 years - failed.

If i'm not mistaken Memtest can't test all of your RAM since Windows is reserving some of it to operate.You mentioned that you got the BSOD when you tried to run I would run memtest again on one stick alternately (if there are 2 or more) just to make sure or use the computer directly in windows to check the difference. im still getting BSODs; since the repaste job, only system service exception for atikmdag.sys, which were the majority of BSODs before the repasting. Can you try checking or cleaning the slots if there are dust and then try to reseat them firmly next time? last time was end of may, which may suggest that something went wrong last time i did the repasting job.
