Its ActionMode stays open during orientation changes. The query is fine. The viewport is always 100% wide and 100% high so for width you just need to ensure that your content will fit in that width no mater what the size. I'm heading home from work which means I no longer will have access to an iPad.

Does anyone know how to fix this or what could have caused the sudden change? (If this belongs elsewhere, feel free to move it.) There was just a thread here about For example, when I open an action mode in landscape, I get two buttons plus their titleCondensed plus an overflow menu. Again there is no need to cater for specific devices but you can use the height of the ipad as a guide for your change. It is not recommended doing this anyway.
